Here, the lake is experienced at a simpler pace: a towel on the grass, a swim, a few pages of a book and the view of the mountains. You do not need to plan a whole day around it; it is the right place to stop when the landscape invites you to slow down.

Spiaggia degli Olivi is one of the historic symbols of tourism in Riva del Garda. Its rationalist architecture and central location give it a different character from the other beaches: more urban, more polished and closely linked to the history of the lake.
It is an interesting choice if you want to combine a lakeside break with a walk through the town centre. You can arrive by bike or on foot, stop for a swim or a drink, then continue towards the streets of the historic centre, the shops and the harbour.

Lido di Arco lies between Riva del Garda and Torbole, along one of the most loved stretches of shoreline for those who enjoy the lake actively. The cycle path makes the journey particularly pleasant: you ride with the lake beside you and can choose to stop for a swim, a break on the lawn or an aperitif with a view of the water.
The atmosphere is very outdoor: grass, gravel, water sports and a continuous view of the mountains. It is perfect if you do not want to stay still all day, but prefer to spend your day around biking, the lake and relaxation.

Moving towards Torbole, Lido Blu and the Villa Cian area reveal the sportiest side of North Lake Garda. Here, the wind is the main feature, especially in the afternoon, and the beach becomes a privileged viewpoint for watching windsurfing, sailing and water sports.
It is a lively and panoramic area, suited to those looking for movement, services and a day with a dynamic rhythm. Even if you do not practise sport, it is worth arriving by bike to enjoy the route, stop along the lakefront and take in the typical atmosphere of Torbole.

If you feel like travelling a little further, Navene Beach, north of Malcesine, is a good idea for a change of scenery. It is a free pebble beach, more natural and less urban than the beaches in Riva, with a long pedestrian and cycle promenade and a setting closely connected to water sports.
Navene is interesting if you are looking for a different kind of day: open views, clear water, a sporty atmosphere and the option to continue towards Malcesine or stop at one of the places in the area. It is best to consider it as a trip by car, especially in high season, when travel times and parking can vary.
