The Virtus Alto Garda Campus has recently opened a new branch in Riva.

Large, fully-equipped internal and external spaces welcome children, who are supervised by experienced Virtus instructors. Here, your children can rise to the challenge of various sports activities, such as basketball, developing their psychomotor skills in the company of new friends.

CLUB IPPICO SAN GIORGIO riding centre

 

In the summer months, the San Giorgio Riding Centre organises unforgettable summer camps, offering children the opportunity to enjoy exciting adventures on horseback.

It is a full-time dive into the equestrian world, and children will learn to love these amazing animals, looking after them and saddling them.

 

The centre has a large outdoor area. There are a number of activities, including practical and training sessions:

• riding lessons
• stabling activities
• grooming lessons
• games and lots more.

SPORT CAMP Hockey Club RIVA

 

Here is the summer camp organised by the Hockey Club Riva in the Centro Sportivo S. Alessandro sports centre, for girls and boys born between 2009 and 2016.

Lots of sports activities, free play and juggling are but a few of the activities your children can enjoy here.

In addition to the activities above, the summer camp includes two outings to local destinations.

 

FROM 3 JULY TO 12 AUGUST

• Timetable: Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 to 16:30.
• Prices:
  • 130 Euro for one week
  • 250 Euro for two weeks
  • 110 Euro: cost for every week after the third.

A 10 Euro discount is applied to every additional sibling enrolling.

The prices include snacks and lunch (but not packed lunches on the 2 outing days).

SKATE SUMMER CAMP

 

It is the perfect camp for young skaters who have some experience with skateboards.

Between 9:00 and 18:00, your children will be able to improve their skateboarding skills through a unique learning experience. Every day, they will explore new locations and try out different terrains.

 

Here is the calendar for the Ferragosto week:

• Tuesday 15: to warm up their wheels, children will start in the GOFAST skate park of Riva del Garda. Lunch is included and will be followed by bricolage activities and gardening
• Wednesday 16: participants will try their “wheels” at the Tenno mini-ramp. This will be followed by an outing with picnic at Lake Tenno
• Thursday 17: GOFAST skate park in the morning, followed by lunch on the Sabbioni beach and trampolines
• Friday 18: outing to the Pinzolo skate park and games in the swimming pool
• Saturday 19: GOFAST skate park in the morning. Afternoon activities include an outing to the Cantiere 26 of Arco and lunch by the Sarca river
• Sunday 20: last day at the GOFAST skate park and an end-of-camp competition, pizza party and prizes for all

Cost: 290 Euro (transport, T-shirt, stickers and socks included in the price).

Alternatively, in the summer, you can:

• go to the GOFAST skate park, daily entry ticket: 3 Euro
• take part in the daily lessons from 9:00 to 10:00 (15 Euro per lesson).

Rental of the skate board, helmet and body protection are included in the price.

CIRCOLO CANOTTIERI RIVA rowing club

 

The Circolo Canottieri Riva rowing club is an unusual summer course. From April to September, children and adults will be able to be in contact with the water and natural environment of Lake Garda.

The courses are held by accredited instructors and the choice will be between canoe and kayak courses. An annual membership fee must always be paid (calendar year).

 

Prices:

• adults: 75 Euro
• children (8 – 18 years): 50 Euro

There are discounts for families. The children’s membership fee includes a free, one-week course.

SUMMER WEEKS IN THE WOODS

 

Registration for “Summer weeks in the woods” is now open, for the weeks between 3 and 28 July 2023. What are these “weeks” exactly?

The pedagogists and educators who organise this activity believe that the woods are a particularly stimulating environment for children.

The benefits of the forest and the natural environment around it can support your child’s cognitive development and aid in the most important aspect of their growth: exercise, physical activity, emotionality and relationship skills.

The summer camp is supported by the scientific principles of Waldpädagogik, experiential learning and constructivist pedagogies. Simply stated, the inspiring principle is to stimulate children to explore natural phenomena with scientific awareness.

The activity’s focus is on the educational value of learning through discovery. The aim is to explore, so that children learn to love Nature and the planet, learning to deal with phenomena with a critical and analytical approach.

 

The summer camp is for children aged between 3 and 6 years. They will be taken to the Val di Ledro forest from Riva del Garda to discover the beauty of the natural environment. Children must bring their packed lunch and snack.

• Camp hours: from 9:00 to 15:00
• Cost per week: 220 Euro, discounts for siblings (200 Euro per week).
