Lake Garda - Lifestyle
Sweetness will conquer all at the artisanal chocolate festival, with hundreds of specialities prepared by master chocolatiers. Stands are always open during the market exhibition.
Do not miss the ChocoBaby stand – with overalls and hats, younger visitors will be supplied with all they need to try their hand at chocolate-making.
Four unforgettable days, dedicated entirely to MTB, eMTB, lifestyle and everything related to what bike fans love.
The festival’s main event is the outdoor trade fair, where major brands will be displaying their new items and will attract visitors with presentations, free product testing and other offers. At the same time, the exhibition area has a full schedule of events and sports competitions, including:
The Arco Street Food Festival will peacefully invade the town centre with Italy’s best food trucks and their tasty wares: lots of different cuisines for everyone, all strictly on wheels.
The traditional local handicrafts market will be held at the same time as the Arco Street Food Festival.
The Feste Vigiliane are back in Molina di Ledro: three feast days with traditional cuisine, music and lots of entertainment. The Pro Loco local tourist office of Molina looks forward to seeing you in the Parco Ex Colonia park.
Our Residence celebrates its love for sailing with this event. For years now, the Garda ORC classes have competed against each other in one of the championship competitions held in the Riva del Garda branch of the Lega Navale [Italian Naval League, a public body]. At the end of the regatta, there will be a pasta party and award ceremony… Where else if not at the Residence Centro Vela?
Three evening live music events bring life to the Riva del Garda town centre. Starting from 16:00 until 20:00, there will be different artists and groups each evening, with music of all kinds played in the exhibiting areas, restaurants, bars, shop windows, streets and squares. What is better in the summer than enjoying excellent music while sipping an aperitif, dining or strolling in the town centre?
A circular walk starting at dawn, from the port of San Nicolò, going through viale Rovereto street and cutting across the town centre up to piazza Battisti square, arriving in front of the docks.
The organisers define this 5 km route “a stroll in company”, in the name of friendship and well-being.
At the end, walkers can enjoy breakfast with seasonal fruit and the most enthusiastic can go for a swim in the lake.
The 2023 edition of the Garda Jazz Festival offers a delightful tour among the amazing landscapes of the Upper Garda region.
The venues offering the public the most interesting artists on the Italian and international jazz stage will be the Castello di Arco castle, Rocca di Riva fortress, the Colonia Pavese park in Torbole, the Canale di Tenno medieval village, Ca’ del Nemoler centre in the municipality of Dro, the new mountain route reaching Malga Campo and the Palacongressi conference centre in Riva del Garda.
There will be lots of musical bands to brighten up the days of the festival and August evenings. Music will also be the main theme in the #vintage market, with stalls selling vinyl records, CDs, audio cassettes, prints, gadgets and other vintage memorabilia.
Shops and bars will be set up in vintage styles and local venues will serve special aperitifs, served by staff dressed in vintage fashion.
The Arco in Vintage market offers a broad range of clothes and accessories from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, as well as furniture, jewellery and sunglasses, plus original handmade products.
The 2023 edition of Notte di Fiaba [enchanted night] brings to Riva del Garda one of the best known travellers – the curious, brave and tireless Gulliver! If you want to discover mysterious places and unknown kingdoms, save the date in your diary – it’s the last week-end of August.
Literature, poetry, meetings, reading and musical narrations: there will be all this, plus original productions that always have literature at their heart, and where dancing and music alternate in a long “intermittence” during the four days of a kermesse that will liven Riva del Garda. Music will be played all around, and two of the participating local music schools, the Conservatorio Bonporti and Smag (Scuola Musicale Alto Garda), are the promoters of music around the lake. Music will be the protagonist of tales deep into the night, when sound and literature merge as if in a dream.
In Arco, on Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October, it is the time of the “Traubenkur” (grape treatment), a traditional, historical event that had been lost in time. The Committee will squeeze the grapes manually with a small press, in front of everyone; grape must will be offered to people who want to try it.
It is oil-making time in Garda Trentino: a week-end to learn, talk and sniff.
During guided tours and visits to the olive presses, tourists will be able to taste locally produced extra-virgin olive oil.
For the occasion, some selected restaurants will be offering theme-based dishes and menus.
This time of the year deserves special mention: it is not a single event, it is a number of initiatives that will make you feel warm on cold winter days.
They include the Christmas Markets, for people looking for gifts or holiday souvenirs; the Flavour Market, where the delicacies from a unique region can be tasted; Santa’s House, where children can meet Santa Claus and take part in workshops; the Elf Academy, a school where only a few children may enrol and, at the end of the course, be awarded the Diploma of Qualified Elf…. but only if they have proven to be as good as Santa’s helpers!
Colours, fragrances and entertainment for the whole family, but also the chance to relax: this, and lots more, is what Garda Trentino is.
